Joe Cracchiolo a native of Arizona, has been a entrepreneur since the age of 15 when he was awarded the Young Entrepreneur of the Year award. He attended the University of Arizona, graduating with a Bachelors Degree in Management Information Systems in 1987.
Immediately following graduation, Joe co-founded a consulting business, Cracchiolo & Feder, Inc. Together with Brad Feder, they created RightFAX, now the world-leader in network-based fax server software, and grew the company from 2 employees to 220 and over $60 million in annual gross sales. The RightFAX company was recognized for four consecutive years with the “Arizona Technical 50” award for the fasting growing high-tech companies in the state. As VP of Technology, Joe played an integral role in establishing the international recognition of this Tucson-based company, including its listing as one of Inc. 500’s 1996 “Fastest growing private companies in America.” That same year, Joe and Brad received the “Entrepreneur of the Year” award sponsored by Ernst & Young, NASDAQ and USA Today.
Joe’s latest endeavor is a pair of companies, Nextrio and Simply Bits. Nextrio is a technology consulting company for small to medium businesses. Nextrio specializes in Microsoft, Linux, and other LAN technologies. Simply Bits has built a wireless metro-wide IP network infrastructure delivering Internet Service, VoIP, Fax, and other hosted applications. Simply Bits is also the largest reseller of Motorola Canopy equipment in Arizona as well as a large reseller of Mikrotik router products.

Dennis Burgess is a Mikrotik Certified Engineer, and has been doing
consulting for small and medium sized businesses for over 8 years.
Deploying a variety of products, including, Microsoft, Cisco, and other
networking, and server gear, he has consulted on many projects across the
USA and several world-wide. Recently his focus has shifted to the
profitable Mikrotik RouterOS and the router board products in replacement of
the Cisco Gear he would normally use. During this time, he also started
WISP Service in Festus, MO and expanding out to several local townships just
south of St. Louis. He also consults and does all the network engineering
work for several other local ISP and WISPs, again, all using Mikrotik Router
OS.
Presentation Overview:
The presentation I will be giving is a low level overview of the
competition, costs, and needs of small to medium Businesses. Reviewing
several key features in the Mikrotik we will show how the RouterOS can be a
very powerful router/access device in these environments. We will also show
a small group of dealerships in the St. Louis area that uses Mikrotik to
interconnect all of its dealerships, and ensure reliable service, in a small
case study. If your focus is to sell the RouterOS to individual companies,
then this low level overview will show you some of the basic capabilities
that the RouterOS can do, and show you the cost differences between other
competitive Routers on the market.

Mark Billets, (Denver, CO, USA) Product Specialist for Electro-Comm
Distributing. Mark has been in the wireless communications field for
almost 20 years. In the 80's Mark served as the Solar power specialist
for one of the major solar distributors. There he specialized in
designing and supplying solutions for remote communications sites as
well as for oil field telemetry and remote homes. Mark has worked at
Electro-Comm for over 5 years, serving as product specialist. His wide
range of knowledge about wireless infrastructure and components makes
him a valuable asset to Electro-Comm's customers and is generally known
as the man with all the answers. Electro-Comm is a wholesale
distributor of wireless communications products, serving the wireless
market for over 30 years.

Carlos is graduated in Electronics Engineer and brings more than 15 years of telecommunications experience to ULTRANET LLC. Carlos was the Computer Science Network manager for Comexi Eletronica. He is owner of Projecom Projetos & Designers, Ltda in Brazil, consultant telecommunications firm. Carlos had the position of director of technology for Wave Wireless Networking and PCOM Inc., a vendor of Wireless products. Carlos has also a extended consulting services to firms such as: Celite Systems, Navini Networks Inc. Before taking, an active role with ULTRANET LLC, Carlos deployed a wireless project in Brazil since in 2002.
Carlos is fluent in Spanish and English and his natural language is Portuguese.

He manages hotspot systems for Boingo and Concourse Communications at major airports in the US and Canada (including Chicago O'Hare, Detroit, JFK, and a number of others)

A reseller and frequent MUM visitor, Jaromir also conducts local trainings in Czech Republic
Residental wireless and mobile solutions
Second time for the USA MUM, O2 will be demonstrating various innovative solutions for residental wireless applications, and their mobile internet access devices.

David Savage is a MikroTik Certified Trainer who both trains and supports
the RouterOS system in South Africa. He runs a local support site
http://www.mikrotiksa.com. At MUM USA he will be doing a presentation on
deploying a WISP under difficult physical and geographical conditions, as
well as using the built in tools of MikroTik router OS to manage a WISP cost
effectively.
