High-availability IPSec with Loadbalance and Failover

This is based on the installation of a Cargo Company that moved from Cisco to MikroTik for their branch-office Secure Tunneling with two upstream at the Central Office. The scenario gets fully high-availability with the help of VRRP.

Routed Repeater Station using OSPF with NV2

This will discuss how to implement a repeater station using 4 units of Sextant radios by routing and not bridging. We installed a repeater station for a backhaul. One leg is about 8km and another leg is 16 km. We have successfully connected the two sites using OSPF routing with NV2. We would like to share the advantages of the configuration versus a purely bridge setup using WDS.

Augmenting multiple CCR for port expansion utilizing VLAN

Case Study. a client with 23 DSL lines must be connected to CCR, the use of CCR as its core router is due to its high processing power, CCR has a maximum of 12 gigabit ports and by using an additional CCR or any low end Routerboard to augment its port and to attach the extra DSL line to it, port trunking via VLAN is necessary.

Wireless Multi-Services using CAPs MAN with IP Management

This will discuss some feature on CAPs MAN with L3 connected and deploy multi-service to cAP, we have successful this in my local and easy for monitor all terminal control.

Cloud+DDNS

I am gonna introduce you MikroTik new feature (Cloud), DDNS is also available to work with MikroTik Cloud

Easy setup of IP based CAPsMAN with link failover and CAP monitor

A CAPsMAN running on an Ethernet Router. 3 Access Points with multiple Ethernet ports are communicating with CAPsMAN through a Layer-3(Routed) and redundant network Monitoring on the Ethernet Router is able to determine a possible Access Point Failure and notify the Administrator of the System

Implementing a Campus Backbone using MikroTik's Cloud Core Series

As an early adopter of mobile computing in the educational field, Foundation University had to address the ongoing demand for capacity when interconnecting its facilities. The result was a highly scalable and MPLS driven network designed and implemented by its in-house IT Operations department. The pre-existing fiber optical backbone as well as the competitive pricing of MikroTik's cloud core series have lead to the decision to implement the new campus network with a 10GbE core. It runs on MPLS allowing for better scalability and management capabilities. It furthermore eliminates the need for a conventionally switched environment. The talk focuses on the design aspects and features provided by the new setup.

WISPering in the Province

Show casing a practical approach on how to operate a fully routed WISP infrastructure within the province incl. physical and logical network layouts. Technical key factors will be discussed incl. the design and implementation of solar powered base stations.

The benefits of Mikrotik RouterOS and RouterBOARD for Telecom and Wireless Internet Service Providers

This presentation envelopes the clever and ingenious features of MikroTik Router Operating System (OS) and RouterBoards. Highlighted would be the vital functions of the said products once integrated with AAA radius servers for billing and bandwidth policies. Such information technology devices has addressed limitations and revealed maximum efficiency to create and ensure security, billing and administration of users, and other related functions and needs. Over the years based on project deployment, the significance of using these products shall be discussed and magnified in cases like: hub sites require higher capacity for Hotspot users, solutions for lottery and utility companies. By and large, with our team’s inclination, we have qualified the central role of MikroTik Router Operating System (OS) and RouterBoard in our IT solutions venture across USA, Jamaica, Morocco, Libya, Jordan, Iraq, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, China and Philippines under SuperWIFI projects.
