Easy setup of IP based CAPsMAN with link failover and CAPs monitoring system (In theory and Live Demo!)
Georgios Argyrides (Greece)
Abstract
A CAPsMAN running on an Ethernet Router.
There are 3 Access Points with multiple Ethernet ports wired in sequence.
They are communicating with CAPsMAN by IP protocol over a redundant
routed network,
a secondary connection will take over as if the primary fails.
Additionally the Monitoring System which we have configured on the
Ethernet Router is able to determine
a possible Access Point Failure and notify the System Administrator
regarding this fault on time.
