case study of how we converted the terragraph mesh FWA pilot into a mikrotik native solution.
more detailed agenda will follow soon.
Quick look into the new line of 5G products, that are going to be made by MikroTik.
In this presentation, we will push the current boundaries of speed with the MikroTik CHR and review the system architecture and configuration needed to achieve 100 Gbps of throughput.
Configuration of IPsec has changed significantly in RouterOS in the last few years. There are many guides, tutorials and presentations which are out of date due to IPsec configuration changes.
This presentation will showcase how to configure the most common IPsec use-cases in the latest RouterOS versions. We will cover configuring:
- L2TP / IPsec
- IPsec XAuth mode-config
- GRE / IPsec
- IKEv2
In RouterOS version 6.45 support for port based authentication dot1x (IEEE standard 802.1x) was introduced.
This presentation will explain how this feature works to provide port based authentication on MikroTik RouterOS. This presentation demonstrate how MikroTik RouterOS can be used as both 802.1X authenticator and supplicant with VLAN assignment. Examples will also be given of common types of clients authenticating to the switch ports.
A ISP need to have dual stack bandwidth limits for customer and a carrier grade NAT for the IPv4 traffic during this presentation I'm going to show this live.
Starting from the conception of the Spanning Tree Protocol we will analyse a few scenarios on how to painlessly implement it in a network, ending with the modern MSTP.
ISP/WISP businesses are judged on the reliability and availability of the services they provide. Essential to achieving these goals is their data center design. The presentation will investigate the options and provide a solution based on the use of MikroTik routers.
Internet access is a critical factor for the survival of online businesses and the design of their network a major factor in ensuring they have the desired level of availability. These options will also be addressed.
MikroTik provides great devices for the rapidly growing M2M and IoT market, but lacks a suitable device management solution and individual interfaces for the endusers. As one of the early distributors and integrators, FMS Internetservice GmbH did accompany many of these projects during the last 12 years. Patrik Schaub will show how the company’s device management system will help to successfully deploy M2M and IoT projects with thousands of MikroTik routers. See how RouterOS based devices are driven through stocking, staging and production phases and are finally automatically maintained. In the end Patrik will demonstrate possibilities to create individual enduser interfaces in order to allow endusers a convenient and faultless control over their MikroTik endpoints.
The presentation will cover how one of the largest manufacturers of coffee machines in Europe have securely
connected their devices to the cloud using the MikroTik LtAP mini mobile router. This session will discuss the technical architecture, but will also zoom in into the business case and the future plans this manufacturer has.
