General Information

This meeting is planned as the biggest MikroTik event of the Year -- our main EMEA (Europe, Middle-East, and Africa). MikroTik will be sending a big contingent of support engineers, speakers, and management to support all customers from individual users to distributors.

Sharm el Sheikh is a very popular winter holiday destination for Europeans with low cost charter and regular flights from almost all European countries. Also, Sharm el Sheikh is a favorite destination and meeting place for the people of many Middle-East and African countries. The conference hotel, Grand Rotana Resort & Spa, is one of the newest and best five star hotels in Sharm el Sheikh. Our staff has been there and inspected their facilities. Purpose of the Meeting

MikroTik Router operating system and software offer a new and exciting alternative to traditional brand name router solutions. This will be a meeting that will present strategies for deploying new and innovative MikroTik RouterOS and RouterBoard hardware applications.

Entry Price

Dates of Events

1. Training will take place on November 17-20th and is a separate event, MUM registration price does not include Training!
2. Welcome cocktail will be held the evening before MUM (Nov 20th, from 6.00PM)
3. MUM 2007 Egypt will take place on November 21st-22nd, 2007

please note that if you are using an invitation voucher when registering, you will not qualify for the free L4 AP license. You will get a free T-Shirt though, just like all other visitors.

Insurance

Please, note that organizers cannot provide any type of insurance for participants. Participants of the Symposium are recommended to arrange individual insurance.

Visa

Symposium participants are kindly suggested to contact the Egyptian Embassy in their countries to check whether an entry visa is required. However, for most European countries, and the US - a visa stamp must be purchased at the Sharm El Sheikh airport when arriving for 15$. More information on this page

If other kind of Visa is required, please contact a local travel agent to organize the trip. Mikrotik will not provide any assistance or invitations for obtaining a visa

Admission to meeting sessions and other events will be permitted only to those wearing the official meeting badge.
