Speaker Profiles and Presentation Abstracts

High Density Indoor Wireless Networks using CAPSMAN

In this presentation we will show how to install and stablish a high density wireless network project using Mikrotik Capsmann, with some spread caps and a CCR-Router as a CAPSMAN managing. With some creative Mikrotik hardware combinations.

3G/4G Solutions with RouterOS

Brian will focus on cellular solutions for RouterOS and give a live demonstration on how to execute scripts based on sending a text message to RouterOS. As well as a status update on RouterOS and cellular mPCIe cards.

Design and Implement VLAN Translations/Rewrites using Switches and Routers

This presentation will highlight the use cases of VLAN Translations in real world environments to include Data Center, Enterprise and Service provider/WISP. Design and implementation will be covered using RouterBoard routers and CRS switches. Verification of VLAN Translation will also be covered using the sniffer tool and Wireshark.

MikroTik Scripting

Presentation will address how MikroTik solutions can be enhanced using scripting.

Packet Manipulation with MikroTik

An overview of how RouterOS can manipulate the various fields of an IPv4 packet.

Deployment of Mikrotik RouterOS as Enterprise Appliance in Corporate Network

This presentation will showcase efficiency of Mikrotik RouterOS in a corporate network with key functionality in Firewalling and QoS. The techniques in this deployment is a cost-saving approach to reduce communication cost and increase productivity.

Using BGP for QOS

BGP allows you to directly identify where traffic is coming from, so why not utilize this information in your QOS policies?

Large Scale Wireless System

Discuss the successful operation and function of large scale Mikrotik wireless network. Point out protocols in use example: MPLS/VPLS, BGP, etc.

vpn's between mikrotik and 3rd party devices

Concept and examples of establishing vpn connections between mikrotik routers and 3rd party devices/ software clients. This allows me to replace expensive cisco routers with mikrotik devices in cisco only networks. Examples would be site to site pptp between mikrotik and cisco ios routers/asa devices. Remote ipsec vpn between Shrew VPN client and mikrotik.

Hotspot with External Login Page

How to Redirect your Hotspot to a External Website for Login using PHP and request User Information from Users when using Guest Login.
